Weird Science present Artworx CD by Brian at Vally PD. This version is for the IBM PC with the images provided in .BMP format (Windows Bitmap) for loading into most Word Processors and Graphics programs such as Word and Corel Draw. The images are in colour and have been provided with thumbnails for Graphics Workshop for Windows, also on the CD. In the GWSWIN directory is the full program for installation or just use the GWS.EXE program on the CD. Brian's explanation of the CD follows...... Well, Another image CD you may well ask? Yes, but unlike all the other CDs we have ever seen, this one contains virtually all hand drawn & some Ray-traced images. In other words pictures that have been created rather than just scanned in. Believe me it took some time to collect this lot, suprising since Deluxe Paint has been around for years. Endless scanned images are all very well, but try printing them out on a less than £1000 printer, they always look dull and lifeless, these images do not, they are created on the computer and look great printed out! In fact, this CD is superb used as a colour clipart CD, as many images are 32 or 16 colours, great for clipart. The majority probably originated on the Amiga, the first high quality computer, but many are from the PC & Mac too. Have fun! Brian.
